Beyond the Stress of Success

A Better Future for You

Genuine enthusiasm...a real feeling of accomplishment...a satisfying sense of progress and fun. That's what waits for you beyond the stress of success. How can you have this and feel calm and more confident? Easy! Engage in a simple practice that adds balance to your work and life. Forget about putting it on your to-do list. Instead playfully practice doing something that works or stop doing something that doesn't work. You'll find yourself effortlessly tweaking your practice so it works well for you.

Busy entrepreneurs, executives and professionals are more effective when they routinely give themselves Pause to Refresh Yourself moments during their work day. Practice it yourself.

  • Stop every hour and a half for 3-5 minutes to consciously recover from the pressures of work
  • Get up from the desk
  • Take several deep breaths
  • Stretch
  • Take a short walk - inside the office or around the building
  • Go outside to get some fresh air
  • Stare at the sky or into space without any focus to let the brain rest and refresh itself

Highly successful people instinctively or consciously take regular intervals of time, no matter how short, to de-stress and refocus. So if you can't control the demands of your work, control the moments you take to intentionally pause and restore your energy. My clients tell me the difference this makes in their work and lives is very surprising and quite amazing.
