Slow Down To Get More Done
The Power of Pacing
Recently I realized my business goals have me running an endless marathon of projects and priorities. As soon as I reach the finish line of one project and its multiple priorities, I'm at the starting line of the next project with another set of complex priorities. To help me go the distance and achieve my objectives on schedule, I decided to slow down to get more done. Sound counterintuitive and crazy to you? Well, it's really working well for me.

Places to Go Before I Sleep
Destiny, Purpose & Meaning
Those who know me know that travel feeds my soul. That's why I'm a traveler. You could say it is my destiny - enriching the essence of my life existence. Recently, I said something a friend found so valuable that she wrote down my words. She told me my statement shifted how she viewed endings and beginnings. She described my words as rich with "nuances of purpose and meaning." This made me pause and see their impact. That's when I decided to share with you what I said - my own "quotable quote."
Quotable Quote
"Destination is the starting point of the journey." - Sylvia Warren. MBA / Consciousness Coach
Naturally, I'd love to hear what meaning, if any, my traveler's perspective has for you. Does this quote clarify or expand the way you see the larger context of your work and life experiences?

Rejuvenate Your Energy & Focus
Are Your Reserves Depleted?
When busy executives and professionals say they need to get more focused, our coaching conversations often reveal that they are not sleeping well or enough. While they know they're tired, they do not realize how depleted their mental and physical energy is. This is a very common symptom of sleep deprivation.
What always makes sense to clients is this simple analogy. When you only fill your gas tank up to reserve and then try to drive long distances, you continually run out of gas. Essentially, that is what happens when your body does not get the rest and sleep it needs to refuel and rebalance itself.
