Fail Forward to Success
Wealth of Wisdom
Highly successfully people routinely practice failing forward. They decide on the best action, take it, and view failure as feedback. Instead of making failure personal, they ask a valuable question. What did I/we learn from what didn't work? Research tells us that geniuses share a similar point of view. When Thomas Edison was asked about his 101 failed attempts at getting the light bulb to work, he replied that he did not consider those unsuccessful attempts failures. From his perspective he had found 101 ways a light bulb didn't work.
No Failure...Only Lessons Learned
What difference would this shift in thinking make if you applied it right now to what you're working on in your business, leadership or life?

Meaningful Wealth
Late August a very dear and life-long friend and I drove about 2 hours north of San Francisco for a spa holiday at Indian Springs. There we found ourselves in the flow of meaningful wealth. Our experience of it was effortless - feeling centered, at ease, and nurtured by nature. As we noticed the beauty in the natural environment, our sense of being wealthy expanded. All it took was blue skies...palm trees - tall and short...verdant forest in nearby mountains...small wild life - a hummingbird resting on a tree branch, little lizards in the summer sun, cat prints on the car. Nature's bounty - but for the absence of our attention - so often escapes our view.Rich and Enriching

The World's Largest Fountain
Curious about the Fountain of Wealth (photo) in my blog post "Thrive in the Fullness of Your Life"? If so, here's the backstory. Singapore's Fountain of Wealth is the largest fountain in the world. In true Feng Shui tradition it sits auspiciously in the financial district below street level. When the full fountain is not on, you can walk to its center and circle it with your hand in the upward flow as instructed.
